Threading is female and it seated perfectly on my existing hilt, no adapter needed. The 1.5-inch diameter gives it a solid, hefty feel without weighing down the blade. Exactly the clean look I wanted for a dueling saber.

The fit on my hilt is snug with zero wobble, and the female threading seated perfectly on the first try. At 3 inches long, it gives the build a nice, aggressive look without adding much heft to the grip.

The threading is clean and the whole piece feels solid in hand at just over a third of a pound. I swapped it onto my hilt in about two minutes, and the 1.125 inner diameter keeps my blade rock steady during spins. Exactly what I wanted for a dueling setup.
