The curve sits perfectly in my palm during practice, and at 1.5 inches in diameter it feels substantial without being bulky. I was worried about the weight distribution, but 0.35 lbs keeps the hilt nicely balanced for spinning.
I was a little worried the curve would feel unnatural, but at 0.35 lbs it balances so well that I forget it's not a straight hilt mid-spin. Definitely a step up for anyone building a custom saber.
That matte finish on the curved body hides fingerprints way better than my old straight hilt did, which is a huge plus for handling it at events.
