The extra reach from this two-handed design is a game-changer in duels—I’m landing hits I never could before, and the wrapped grip feels secure even during fast, sweaty exchanges. That possible extra attack per round has actually triggered a few times, and it’s saved me more than once.
The wrapped grip gives me a solid hold during long duels, and the extra reach actually lets me catch opponents who thought they were out of range. The flamberge-inspired curve looks wicked on my saber, too.
The hand-and-a-half length on this wraps-style 2H body really shines in sparring—my reach advantage is obvious now. The flamberge-inspired curve gives it a nice weight balance too, not clunky like some two-handers. Pair it with a good pommel and it swings like a dream.
