The stepped shroud catches the light in a way that makes the hilt look way more expensive than it is, and the fit with the inner core is dead-on. I’ve been swapping cores between duels and it’s held together perfectly so far.
The modular core swap is a huge win for me—I picked a different inner core and it fits perfectly with the stepped shroud, giving the whole thing a nice layered look. Build feels solid and clean, no wobble when assembled.
The stepped shroud catches the light at every angle, and swapping between the 7 inner cores took me all of two minutes. I've owned sabers with bulkier bodies before, but this one feels balanced and clean in hand.
