The round reactor design actually looks like part of the hilt instead of a plain cap, which I didn't expect at this price. It fits my saber snugly and keeps the LED covered when the blade's off.
Wasn't sure a plug would make much difference until I actually left the blade in and turned it on — the light bouncing off the round reactor tip looks way better than a bare socket. It fits my standard hilt fine, though I get why they warn about thin-necks. Keeps the LED covered when I'm not dueling
The round tip sits flush against the blade opening and gives off that nice, focused glow when the saber's on. Took a minute to slide in snug, but it holds steady and I feel better knowing the LED’s got a shield now.
