The 2.5-inch width is sturdy enough to hold a heavy saber without sagging, and the leather already has that worn-in feel straight out of the box. I’ve worn it to two ren faires this month and it’s held up perfectly with my pouch setup.
I was a little worried about how well it would hold a saber, but the 2.5-inch width makes it feel really sturdy without being bulky. The leather has a nice, matte finish that looks good with jeans or a costume. It’s become my go-to belt for ren faire weekends.
