The extra large size really changes the balance—it's got enough heft to make the whole hilt feel planted in your hand during a swing. I also appreciate that it's one solid piece; no threads or parts to worry about coming loose mid-duel.
The one-piece design feels rock solid, and I love that it doubles as a mace head if you ever need it. The counterweight balances the hilt perfectly for a two-handed swing, and it threads on clean without any wobble.
Heavy enough to genuinely anchor the hilt, and that one-piece feel gives me zero worry about it loosening mid-spin. The mace-head option is a nice bonus, though I mostly use it for the balance it adds to the grip.
