De Tri-Fighter is een lichtzwaard met een omhulde emitter. Het heeft een uitlopende pommel voor een palm-pivot-greep die wordt gebruikt bij Europese zwaarden. Het schakelgedeelte heeft een ovale verzinking die het schakelvlak verlaagt om onbedoelde activering te voorkomen. De emitter heeft gefreesde groeven op de nek, diepe groeven tussen de omhulsels, en lamellen die overeenkomen met de pommel. The flared pommel lets me pivot my palm through longsword-style cuts way smoother than my old saber ever did. Shrouded emitter gives the blade a nice solid feel on impact, too. Been swinging this thing for two weeks straight and it's held up perfectly.

The flared pommel is the standout for me, it lets me choke up and pivot my palm exactly like I do with my longsword trainers. That oval countersink on the switch face is a small touch but my thumb finds it instantly in the dark.

The shrouded emitter gives the blade a nice focused look, and the oval countersink on the switch actually keeps my thumb from slipping during spins. Only gripe is the switch face sits a bit recessed, so it takes some getting used to with gloves on.
