The notched edges give it a proper cog-like grip that feels solid in hand, and the one piece build means no wobble or creaking when I twist it. Took a bit to get used to the industrial look, but now it's my favorite switch on the bench.

The milled bands catch the light in a way that makes it look way more expensive than it is, and the one-piece build feels rock solid in hand. Installed it without any fuss, though it’s good to know it won’t work with drop-in cores if you’re planning ahead.
