That oval countersink around the switch is such a smart touch, my thumb quit catching it mid-swing. Palm pivots with the flared pommel feel locked in, and the whole thing has a nice weight without being clunky.

The flared pommel makes palm pivots feel way more natural than my old saber, and I didn't realize how much I needed that until I tried it. The recessed switch is genius too, my thumb used to hit it constantly during spins and now it never fires by accident.

I was worried the oval countersink would make the switch awkward to reach, but my thumb finds it instantly even in a tight grip. The flared pommel lets me transition into that palm pivot without fumbling, which is exactly what I needed for my longsword drills.
