The oval countersink on the switch section actually makes a difference, my thumb doesn't slip off mid-swing like it did on my old saber. The shrouded emitter gives it a nice weight forward feel too.

That flared pommel completely changed how I hold this thing — the palm pivot feels so natural when I'm swinging it one-handed. The shrouded emitter gives the blade a nice weight forward feel without making the hilt awkward.

The oval countersink on the switch section is such a small detail, but it makes thumbing the ignition feel clean and intentional every time. I've been drilling the longsword-style palm pivot grip and that flared pommel genuinely locks into my hand better than any other hilt I own.
