The leather is stiffer than I expected, which actually makes it feel sturdy, and the loop slides onto my belt without any fuss. My saber hangs at just the right angle and doesn't wobble when I walk, yet drawing it for a quick duel is effortless.
The clip grips my belt tight enough that the saber never wobbles, yet sliding it out for photos takes zero effort. I measured my belt at 2.25" and it slid right through the opening.
