That grenade-style grip fits my hand way better than the smooth hilt I had before, and the flared pommel makes palm pivots feel almost automatic. The recessed switch is a smart touch too, since I kept bumping the old one mid-cut.

Been using this for two weeks of longsword drills and the oval countersink on the switch really does keep my thumb from bumping it mid-cut. The grenade-style grip locks in nicely too. Solid hilt overall.
