The brushed shroud hides the ribbed inner holder completely until you look close, and at just under four inches it balances a hilt perfectly. Machining is clean with no sharp edges, which is exactly what I wanted for my build.

The brushed shroud has a really clean matte finish that hides fingerprints well, and the ribbed inner holder gives it a nice tactile grip when you're twisting it onto the hilt. It's heavier than it looks at just a quarter pound, which actually feels reassuring in hand.
