The light panel gives a nice even glow instead of a hollow tube look, which is exactly what I wanted when the blade's out. Fit was snug in my saber, and it seems to do its job protecting the LED.

Snapped this into my saber and it instantly turned the empty emitter into a proper glowing light panel. Good to know it won't fit thin-neck models, but for my standard hilt it seats snug and protects the LED when the blade's off. The light diffusion looks way better than a bare socket.

The glow it throws off is surprisingly even and realistic for a blade plug, and the fit is snug enough that I don't worry about it rattling during spins. It does its job of protecting the LED without looking like a cheap cap, which is exactly what I wanted.
