That grenade-style grip fits my hand way better than the smooth hilt I had before, and the flared pommel makes palm pivots feel almost automatic. The recessed switch is a smart touch too, since I kept bumping the old one mid-cut.
Been using this for two weeks of longsword drills and the oval countersink on the switch really does keep my thumb from bumping it mid-cut. The grenade-style grip locks in nicely too. Solid hilt overall.
The flared pommel sits perfectly for that palm pivot grip—I’ve been practicing longsword forms and it doesn’t slip once. The oval countersink on the switch section is a nice touch too, keeping the button recessed and out of the way during swings. Solid build all around.
