Went with the Hexagon Imperial Cog tsuba and it looks sharp in person, way better than the plain round guard I almost picked. The grip stays solid during longer swings, though it took a minute to get used to since there's no textured wrap. Solid balance overall for the price.
The bare metal grip feels way better in hand than I expected, no slipping even during longer spins. I went with the Hexagon Imperial Cog tsuba and the detailing is crisp in person. Just know going in that you can't swap the electronics later, which is fine by me.
The Hexagon Imperial Cog tsuba is what sold me and it looks even sharper in person. The bare metal grip feels solid without being slippery, and the whole thing has a nice weight to it. Won't take drop-in electronics, but I knew that going in.
