The long handle gives me way more control than my old saber, and the flared pommel keeps my hand from sliding off during fast transitions. That angled guard really does help catch and redirect an opponent's blade instead of just clanking against it.
That angled cross guard is the real deal, it catches and redirects an incoming blade way easier than my old straight-guard saber. The flared pommel also keeps my hand from slipping off during fast swings.
The long handle gives me way more leverage on swings than my old saber, and the flared pommel keeps my pinky locked in so it doesn't slip. Been using it for light sparring twice a week and it's held up perfectly.
